The Triangulum Galaxy (M33, or NGC 598) is the next closest spiral galaxy to our Milky Way beyond the Andromeda Galaxy and can be seen naked eye in dark skies. It is a beautiful face-on galaxy with many HII nebulae regions. It is often called the Pinwheel galaxy.
