This praying mantis is about three inch long and probably a female. They are camouflaged and it's always fun see them like here on this screen. They seem to watch you with their 'faces' as the head moves from side to side. Interesting fact: their front legs snare their prey with reflexes so quick that they are difficult to see with the naked eye.
